Who We Are

Grace Community Preschool & Kindergarten strives to give children purpose. We recognize the potential in children as unique creations of God. We value ongoing partnership with parents and families. We ensure quality provision through our school, facility, and staff. We believe in play, as learning is fun and creative and we have a passion for treating children with love, kindness, and respect.

Grace Community Preschool & Kindergarten is a Christian organization and Bible lessons are part of each day’s activity.

Debby Pierpoint | Director

Debby is passionate about preschool and kindergarten! After spending time teaching at Willakenzie Christian Preschool and working in other childcare organizations, Debby began to see, “how eager and ready children are to learn at a very early age.” Debby earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Lane Community College. She lives in Eugene with her husband, David, and has two grown children.

A fun part of my mornings at Grace Community Preschool is greeting the three and four year-olds as they come through the door and offering a high five, fist bump, or a hug. After locating their name tag on the wall, backpacks and coats get hung, and water bottles make it inside to cubbies or a shelf for later use. Each child is accompanied by a parent, and often younger siblings, and it's so exciting when these little ones have their own opportunity as a GCPK student. We welcomed 9 siblings starting their own preschool path this year!
