A man needs a battle to fight; he needs a place for the warrior in him to come alive and be honored, trained, seasoned. If we can reawaken that fierce quality in a man, hook it up to a higher purpose, release the warrior within, then the boy can grow up and become truly masculine. —John Eldredge, Wild at Heart
Here at Grace, we understand men.
We understand that you probably don’t feel a strong need to share your feelings in everyday conversations. We understand that given the option, you will always choose gym shorts over tucking your shirt in. But most of all, we understand that you probably don’t like coming to church.
We hope you will find that we aren’t like most churches though. Why? Because we won’t tell you to settle down and just be nice. We won’t tell you to behave yourself, follow the rules, and always file your TPS reports on time.
We’re going to welcome you with open arms regardless of where you’re at in your journey. But most of all, we’re going to help you follow Jesus. After all, once your heart comes alive to Him, that’s when the true adventure begins.

MAN Night happens on the first Sunday of every month. We meet at the church fr Pizza and then head out to do something epic together. Whether it’s Bowling, Go-Karts, or Skeet Shooting, you’re guaranteed to have a blast.
Keep an eye on the Upcoming Events page to see what we’ve got planned next.
What if there was a place that was so safe, you could finally let your secrets come into the light and not be rejected, but be loved by others who understand? Visit the M.A.S.H. Unit page for more info.
MANversity is our annual 3-part series on discovering, engaging and recovering our hearts as men.
We begin each fall with MAN101: Beautiful Outlaw, taking a deeper look at how Jesus models true masculinity for us. In winter, we begin to unpack our core desires as men in MAN201: Wild at Heart, and wrap things up learning how God desires to father us into our redeemed manhood in MAN301: Fathered by God.
Each 8-week session meets on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30. There is also an online version available for guys who can’t make it to class.
We all have questions, and we at GCF believe there are men around us with a few more miles on their odometer who can help us discover the answers.
Whether your questions are about your life, career, family, suffering, or all of the above, we can find an experienced Journeyman for you to grab a cup of coffee with and talk through them.
If you’re interested in connecting with a Journeyman, email us and we’ll get you set up.
4×4 Service Team
I think it’s safe to say we as men all take pride in the satisfaction of a job well done, even more so when we’re doing the job as an act of service to share the love of God with others.
Whether it’s chopping wood to help heat low-income homes, flipping burgers for a kid’s ministry event, or any other excuse to pull out some power tools for the Kingdom, we want you to know about the opportunity.
Best of all, we’re hoping to set these projects up as ways to teach you the skills you may not currently have. Never used a chainsaw before? Show up to a 4×4 event and learn from a career logger as you bless someone with free firewood. Want to learn how to change oil in a car? Come sit beside a mechanic as you guys do some maintenance on a single mom’s van. It’s a win-win for everyone.
If you want to be kept in the loop on future opportunities, sign up here.
Connection Groups for Men
We offer a number of connection groups for men, some general in nature, some geared specifically toward men who have been through divorce or are facing other struggles. Check out our Groups page and choose “Men’s Ministry” from the department menu to see a current listing of what we have to offer.
Our Men’s Breakfasts are great opportunities to meet other men over a good meal, hear some testimonies from guys who share real-life stories, and enjoy a speaker who will challenge you in some area of your life. They typically meet every other month, so keep an eye on the Calendar or Upcoming Events pages to make sure you don’t miss the next one.
Men like to do stuff, so here at Grace, we come up with tons of stuff for guys to do. Wether it’s our league-dominating softball team, the Outdoor Adventures hiking/climbing group, or motorcycle rides up the McKenzie, there’s sure to be an activity that will awaken your spirit of adventure. Just keep an eye on the Calendar or Upcoming Events pages to find out what we’ve got coming up.
