What to Expect on a Sunday

GCF Exterior Sign Attending a church for the first time can be intimidating and we understand this feeling. Here’s a sneak-peek at what to expect when you join us.

Worship Service

worship_center We use innovative ideas to communicate the message of Jesus in a way that is relevant to people today. Jesus’ message is powerful by itself, but it becomes even more personal and memorable when combined with great music, creative illustrations, and engaging video clips. And that’s what we try to do! Our worship services are approximately 75 minutes long and designed to be easy to understand.

Service Times

We begin semi-promptly on Sunday at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Nursery and childcare is offered during both services; Club 45 (4th & 5th Grade) and Middle School meet only during the 11:00 a.m. service. High School meets at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday nights in the Youth Building (the building on the north end of our parking lot).

Clothes

We prefer you wear clothes for sure, but otherwise, come as you are! You’ll feel comfortable in jeans (shorts when the sun’s out) or casual business wear. We’re more interested in you as a person than what you wear.

Children’s Area

After entering the front doors, you will see the children’s area on your right where you can check in. Feel free to walk into the children’s area and to their classroom.  We have a stringent security system and all children’s workers have gone through a background check. If your child needs you during the service, your child’s number will appear on the screens in the auditorium.

Parking

You can park in our East lot (gravel area) and in our West paved lot. Our business neighbors also allow parking in their lots on Sundays. Check the aerial view here.

Good Coffee

Coffee Our Grace Café serves our own special blend of coffee. Hot chocolate and tea is also available and you are welcome to bring it into the Auditorium. Complementary coffee is located in the café area as well as mochas. Your first mocha or latte is on the house!

Guest Services

Guest Services Want to know just a little bit more? The Guest Services area is large and well-marked near the entry. The people working there are more than glad to help answer questions. We also give away free books to new visitors, so be sure to stop by and pick one up during your visit.
