DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
- What child-like quality do you miss the most in your life? Why?
- Be honest. How do you view kids under the age of 10? What experiences have formed that view?
- Do you identify more with the disciples or the children in this story? Why?
- Have you ever wandered away like the sheep in Jesus’ story? If we’re honest, we all have at some point. Do you believe that Jesus is still pursuing you like the shepherd did? Explain.
- Name at least one child you know that you could invest in and help point to Jesus in the next six months.
NEXT STEPS
- If you are not volunteering, start. Don’t wait to be asked. Take the initiative.
- If you are volunteering some, consider volunteering more. Getting more involved will change you more than them.
- If you are volunteering a lot, go find someone else to volunteer with you. The best new volunteers are usually recruited by the best already-existing volunteers.
