SPEAKER

Steve Hill

SCRIPTURE

Esther

OUTLINE

  • Everyone will come to a Destiny Intersection to do something for God.
  • Recognize the gifts God has given me to use.
    • Gifts + Needs + Calling = Destiny
    • Search for God not your Destiny.
  • I must identify the needs that stir my heart.
  • I must be bold.
    • Boldness is speaking up when it is easier to say nothing.
    • Courage comes from commitment.
    • Synergy comes from unity of purpose.
  • You must make a faith commitment.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

  1. In your life, what do you see more of: Fate? Chance? Design? Destiny? Explain.
  2. If you were a Jew, would you have urged Mordecai to “bow his knee” rather than risk the lives of everyone else? Why?
  3. Can you imagine a crisis in which you would “go against the law,” as Esther does, to find a solution?
  4. Describe a time when you faced a Destiny Intersection in life.
  5. Take time to pray as a group. Pray that each person might draw closer and closer to God so that each is better prepared to identify moments to take action.

NEXT STEP

  • I will diligently pursue God so that I can better recognize moments to take action.
