SPEAKER

Troy Dean

SCRIPTURE

Ephesians 4:17-24

BIG IDEA

A new life in Christ requires a new vision that gives a new attitude that informs a new way.

OUTLINE

How to have a bad attitude:

Thinking = futile

Understanding = darkened

Hearts = hardened (ignorance)

Sensitivity = lost

Sensuality = indulged

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

  1. When was the last time you had a bad attitude? What do you do or say when that happens?
  2. What are some of the signs in the world that people are following their own way and not God’s?
  3. Reflect on your life apart from God… How did you act or think when you were separated from or not pursuing God?
  4. What difference does it make to know that Christ is in you and you can put on Christ?
  5. What practices or reminders do you need this week to put your new self that is in Christ?

NEXT STEPS

This week I will:

  • Make a decision to repent and follow Jesus
  • Make a decision to get baptized
  • Begin a daily devotional in order to “put on the clothes” of Christ to start my day.
