DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

  1. On a scale of 1-10, how much did peer pressure affect you as a teenager? How about now?
  2. According to this passage, what is supposed to make Christians distinctly different in our world? In your experience, has that been the case? Why or why not?
  3. When you see other Jesus-followers (or yourself) struggle with the challenges in this scripture, do you tend to judge them or respond with grace? Think carefully before you answer.
  4. Which of the challenges in this passage is most difficult for you (i.e. immorality, greed, foolish talk, idolatry)? Why? In what area have you seen God change you the most?
  5. What one way can you bear the light this week? At work? In your family? In your neighborhood?
