Genesis 1:3-4 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
1. Darkness Frustrates but Light Illuminates.
John 1:4-5 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
2. Darkness Alienates but Light Captivates.
John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
3. Darkness Incarcerates but Light Liberates.
John 12:35-36 Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.”
