- How often do you Google for advice? Have your results been helpful? Is there a subject you would not Google? Why?
- Describe a time you received damaging advice. How’d that situation work out?
- Is it difficult to believe that a man who lived 2000 years ago can offer relevant advice for today? Is it difficult to believe that the book written about him is trustworthy today?
- Do Jesus’ words seem too simplistic for today’s complicated situations? Explain.
- Many times we proceed through steps 1-4 in Pastor Steve’s message, but get stuck on step #5. What is the biggest obstacle for you to fully embrace #5?
