DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

  1. Are you experiencing a relationship that is disconnected right now? What happened to cause it?
  2. Describe the context with which you learned relationship basics (e.g., family, school, team, other?). Was that a positive or negative experience for you? Why?
  3. Do you struggle with pride? If you said “no,” you do. If you said “yes,” at least you’re honest! Try this one, “To what degree do you struggle with pride? In what settings?”
  4. What does humility look like? Is it one of those things you just know when you see it? Does Jesus’ humility inspire you? How so?
  5. Do you believe God unconditionally loves you? If so, how does that fact manifest itself in your daily life? In your relationships? How could it?

NEXT STEPS

  • I will check the status of my heart with my relationships.
  • I will choose to believe that God loves me unconditionally.
