Healthy relationships come from finding strength, worth, and value in God.
SERMON OUTLINE
- Much of life is determined by relationships. They are important.
- If our worth and value are found in God, we can have healthy relationships.
- Jesus modeled a life of being loved by the Father.
- If we consider the depth of God’s forgiveness in our lives, we will be able to forgive others.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
- How did God the Father speak value and worth to Jesus?
- Do you believe the Father has spoken value and worth to you? If yes, how so? If not, why not?
- Name one difference it would make in your relationships if you understood how God values and loves you.
- We all have times where it is extremely difficult to forgive someone. Describe a situation when it was difficult for you to forgive in the past. Or were you able to forgive?
- Does seeing the depth of God’s forgiveness affect the way you forgive others? Where can this concept be applied to your life right now?
