Two promises that Jesus makes:
- I will present you with life
- I will protect you from death

- Describe what it is like for you to know that Jesus knows that much.
- How have the things you have experienced in life helped you connect with people in meaningful ways, if that has indeed happened to you.
- How are the pressures of today different from those in 85 AD? How are they in ways similar?
- What unique challenges are presented to those living in affluent society?
- What do you think will be involved in the way of rewards to faithful followers? Does that motivate?
- What moves us from being a believer to being a committed disciple?
