DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
- Describe a time when you planned for a big trip. What did you do to learn about the area where you were going? How did you prepare for the journey to get there? Was the process of preparing enjoyable? Did the trip go better because you prepared?
- Many times it is extremely difficult to “keep going” when times are tough and you want to throw in the proverbial towel. When times are tough, do you tend to rely more on the strength that comes from God or do you try to muscle through it? How does it work out in either situation? Got an example?
- This passage (Rev 3:7-13) almost sounds like a coach’s half-time speech when his team has the lead. Talk about ways that you can encourage each other in your group to keep pressing on in following Jesus despite the circumstances around you. Take time to pray for each other.
